Demon – Time Has Come by Demon (Full-Version Orig.Vinyl)

TIME HAS COME – Hello! Steve Watts here … read on… (c) Dave Hill/Steve Watts (1989) Guitar intro by John Waterhouse. I can’t remember if it was “Time Has Come” or the whole “Taking The World By Storm” album that was originally entitled “Pictures”. Such details get lost or change over time and it usually takes some prompt or other to jog the memory and even then, such memories are prone to inaccuracy or intentional distortion. I remember the details of how I came to compose Time Has Come however, largely due to, and with thanks to, Keith John Ryan (see the-demon.com guestbook entry (211), page (56)). I’d been helping Keith out with some “extra-curriculum activity” to keep the wolves from the door whilst playing in Demon, and I used my time on the journey to and from work to mull over musical ideas; often grabbing Keith’s trusty cassette recorder and pressing the record-button as soon as I got in, to quickly sing or whistle some melody-line to tape before it was forgotten. Time Has Come started in this way, beginning with a simple repetitive melody line which was originally intended to be the main vocal line for the verse (you can still hear this line played by piano and orchestra in the instrumental section before the last chorus – it remains rightly or wrongly, due to my stubborn insistence). I also had a nice big grandiose chord section based on descending thirds knocking around that I was quite liked (since “Breakout” in fact), very different to the delicate verse

Bed of Roses (Bon Jovi Cover)

Think i first heard this blaring out of my ex’s CD player most likely.. Great song, changed the chords around to suit my voice (well, nearly :P ) found the chorus change a bit high but sod it gave it some welly anyway. NOW PLEASE CLICK SUBSCRIBE :) Jon Bon Jovi claimed he wrote the song in a hotel room while suffering from a hangover, and the song reflects his feelings at the time[3]. The song contains drawn out guitar riffs and soft piano playing, combined with emotive and powerful vocals by Jon to create a power ballad love song. The line”as I dream about movies they won’t make of me when I am dead” is indicative of the central theme of rugged existence. **LYRICS** Sitting here wasted and wounded at this old piano Trying hard to capture the moment this morning I don’t know ‘Cause a bottle of vodka is still lodged in my head And some blond gave me nightmares, think that she’s still in my bed As I dream about movies They won’t make of me when I’m dead With an ironclad fist I wake up and french kiss the morning While some marching band keeps it’s own beat in my head While we’re talking About all of the things that I long to believe About love, the truth, what you mean to me and the truth is Baby you’re all that I need I wanna lay you down in a bed of roses For tonight I’ll sleep on a bed of nails I wanna be just as close as your Holy Ghost is And lay you down on a bed of roses Well I’m so far away the step that I take’s on my way home A king’s ransom in dimes I’d give each

My Curse / Expert 100% FC 371k on Drums

First of all, YEAH!!!… the latest GH3 update over Xbox Live has added manual and separate audio/video calibration! That means nobody will ever say “why do the notes hit so late, this is fake” anymore! Well, it’ll cut down on some of that, anyway. I’ve got my audio at 145ms and video at 35ms (random small number I chose, seems to work out well with my TV). And it’s awesome. I’m trilled that my notes “burst into flames” on the row of circles instead of off-screen AND I can still play in time with what I hear, not what I see. Very cool Neversoft! Much appreciated. So, now, my first FC video. I’ve been working up to getting 20 songs gold-starred (for the Enlightened Guitarist achievement) and this is the 19th. One more to go! I was soooo tempted to start looking around the room, or at the camera or something, to be goofy during the final section where it’s all the same 3 notes over and over again, but I didn’t want to risk screwing up my FC for that. :-D BTW, I accidentally used a brighter exposure in this video which washes out the notes on screen. If anybody cares, let me know which way you like it: this way, or the less-washed-out-but-darker way of some of my other recent videos. Thanks everyone for the great feedback. Thanks for watching.FAQ: —- Q: How does it work? A: Everything is explained in detail here: egyokeo.com Q: How do you do 3-note chords? A: All “two adjacent note” power chords are mapped to the top 4 pads, so with two hands I can play any 3-note chord
